Giving Recognition



Recognition is a powerful tool everyone can use to build a better workplace and relationships while encouraging others. Sustaining a positive, highly motivating work environment occurs when team members recognize small, everyday successes, encourage informed risk-taking and being self-initiating. Morale increases when positive re-enforcement inspires employees to think and try new ideas or processes beyond their immediate comfort-zone and to focus on the concerns of the team or organization.
