Corrective action is another one of those areas we often dread. Yet, as leaders, we must hold discussions with employees about unacceptable performance. This process follows if less formal feedback and coaching have failed to bring about the desired changes.



Participants will also learn:

  • The costs of procrastinating corrective action.
  • How to identify which performance situations to take action.
  • How to prepare for a focused discussion.
  • How to mutually assess the situation.
  • When appropriate, discuss what actions you plan to take and why.
  • Assist the employee in identifying possible solutions and actions.
  • Agree on a plan and follow-up dates
